2. Web Hosting and Server Log Files

This website is hosted on external servers provided by Namecheap, Inc. (USA). When you visit, the infrastructure automatically stores server log files: IP address, date and time of the request, browser type and version, operating system and referrer URL. This data is technically necessary to display the website securely and stably; the legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Data transfer to the USA is protected via standard contractual clauses (SCCs) and alignment with the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

3. Email Inquiries

If you contact us by email, the data you provide (name, email address, message content) is processed to handle your inquiry and follow-up questions. Legal basis: performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

4. Cookies, Tracking and Analytics

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking or advertising services — which is why there is no cookie banner. Should an analytics service be introduced in the future, this policy will be updated and consent obtained first.

5. Fonts

Web fonts are self-hosted; no connection to Google or other third-party servers is established when loading this site.

6. Data Retention

Personal data is stored only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected for, or as required by statutory retention periods. Under Austrian tax and business law (UGB, BAO), business correspondence and invoices must be retained for 7 years.

7. Your Rights under GDPR

You have the rights of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). To exercise any of these rights, contact michael@hurzhi.com.

8. Right to Lodge a Complaint

If you believe the processing of your data violates data protection law, you may lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority: Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna · dsb@dsb.gv.at · dsb.gv.at
